We encountered some pretty epic weather conditions during our recent camping trip on Kick. You see, the forecast called for clear sunshine, but Mother Nature had other thoughts. Apparently, she decided to throw a massive deluge right in the middle of our adventure!
Our shelter quickly turned into a swamp. {Everywhere was soaked through and through. We attempted to stay dry, but it was a losing battle. The rain just kept falling.
It wasn't all bad though. There was something different about the whole experience. We huddled together in our makeshift shelter, sharing memories and attempting to stay warm.

Well friends, it's been a wild few months here on the farm! The plants are blooming like crazy, and I'm totally excited about all the {freshfoods we're going to have.
I've also been workin'/toiling/hustling hard on {somenew projects that I can't wait to tell you all about soon! In the meantime, here are a few of {quickhighlights:
* Got around to finishing up the new barn.
* The chickens/goats/cows are laying/producing/giving tons/loads/plenty of eggs/milk/cheese.
* I've been trying out some new recipes using all the fresh ingredients from the farm.

Wild Ride: Camping in the Storm with Jess
Rain pounded down, turning our campsite into a muddy mess. But that didn't stop Jess! She was ecstatic to be out here in the wild, braving the elements with a grin on her face. We struggled to erect our tent, which leaked like a wounded animal every time a gust of wind hit it. We huddled inside, sharing stories, the warmth of each other's company driving the chill. Later, we watched the rain drumming on the leaves, listening to the sounds of nature. This wasn't just a camping trip, it was an challenge. A true "Girl Gone Wild" moment!

Farmer girl Jess totally figured it would be a wet day when she decided to start/kick off/launch her livestream. Little did she know that the heavens themselves were planning open up and flood everything in sight!
